A company that cares for you
We are a growing company who have been providing care at home for 30 years. We care about our staff and this is reflected in our working conditions and we fully recognise that our staff are our greatest resource. We have been accredited with the Investors in People award since 1999 and were recently awarded Bronze level. Our training programmes are second-to-none and tailored to your individual role’s responsibilities. We can also offer opportunities for Volunteering, Apprenticeships and Gap Years.
Flexible Working Hours
As a care company we are “open” seven days a week, every day of the year including bank holidays, between the hours of 7.00am to 10.00pm. We need people who can work at various times between these hours either on a full or part-time basis, including alternate weekends and evenings. We can arrange your work pattern around your availability.
For part-time work we require a minimum commitment of 16 hours a week (to include working alternate weekends). Evening-only or weekend-only care work can be arranged to suit individual situations. Waking nights and sleepover shifts are from 10.00pm at night to 7.00am.
Good Rates of Pay
We offer very good rates of pay. You are paid for the time you spend with each client with higher rates paid for weekend work. Your own transport is required but we give you a generous tax-free mileage allowance.
Training
We recognise the importance of training all our care staff to the highest professional standards to ensure, not only your safety and well-being, but also that of our clients. You will always be paid for any time that you spend in training. See more details about our Training Programme here.
Uniform and Equipment
We supply everything you need to do your job at no cost to you including: SMART phone, uniform, protective apron, gloves, hand gel, fob watch, torch, personal alarm and identity badge.
Professional Development and Career Opportunities
If you do not already hold a Diploma or NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care we will encourage you to work towards this once your probationary period has ended. In-house training courses for your further development are run on a regular basis and your manager will work with you on this. You can ask for additional training in any areas that you might like to specialise in.
